The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid
Services Awards Five-Star Rating to Carter Healthcare for Providing the
Nation’s Highest Quality Home Healthcare
OKLAHOMA
CITY, November 4, 2019 — Carter Healthcare announced today that 27
of its providers, including 53 locations, have earned the highest rating from
the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), representing the top 6 percent of all home health providers nationwide. Carter Healthcare's 5-star providers include every location in the states of Florida, Ohio, Oklahoma, and Texas.
The CMS Home Health Compare rating system rates the
nation’s Medicare-certified home health agencies on a one- to five-star scale
for quality of patient care, based on nine of the 29 process and outcome
measures during a 12-month period. The ratings are released each quarter and
provide a single indicator of an agency’s performance compared to other
agencies.
“Our clinicians work hard every day to provide the very best care to help people live better lives,”
said Jessica Hoover, chief operations officer at Carter Healthcare. “To be awarded 27 five-star ratings is a great accomplishment. These ratings are confirmation of just how successful our team members
have been at providing the highest quality care for our patients.”
