The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid
Services Awards Five-Star Rating to Carter Healthcare for Providing the
Nation’s Highest Quality Home Healthcare
OKLAHOMA
CITY, January 24, 2019 — Carter Healthcare announced today that 25
of its providers, including 57 locations, have earned the highest rating from
the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), representing the top 4
percent of all providers nationwide.
The CMS Home Health Compare rating system rates the
nation’s Medicare-certified home health agencies on a one- to five-star scale
for quality of patient care, based on nine of the 29 process and outcome
measures during a 12-month period. The ratings are released each quarter and
provide a single indicator of an agency’s performance compared to other
agencies.
“To earn these five-star ratings is a great achievement,”
said Brad Carter, chief operations officer at Carter Healthcare. “Every day our
team members are striving to provide the very best care to help people live
better lives. These ratings are confirmation of just how successful our team
has been at providing the highest quality care for our patients.”
