Carter Healthcare earns 5 star rating in Florida
August 11, 2016 -
Carter Healthcare locations in Melbourne-Orlando and Boca Raton have each been awarded a five start rating from The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) in the Quality of Patient Care Star Rating.

The CMS five star quality rating system rates the nation’s home health agencies on a one to five star scale based on nine of the 29 process and outcome measures during a 12-month period. This star rating provides a single indicator of an agency’s performance compared to other agencies.

“Earning a five star rating for Melbourne-Orlando and Boca Raton is a huge achievement,” said Brad Carter, chief operations officer at Carter Healthcare. “Our team members consistently strive to provide the very best care to help people live better lives and these ratings prove how they have been successful at providing this highest care.”

Carter Healthcare, with its five star rating, is able to distinguish itself from other providers in Florida. Carter Healthcare of Melbourne-Orlando has maintained a five star rating since January 2016. The average star rating in Florida is three and a half stars while the average in the U.S. is three stars.
